NIE Farm Solar Water Heating Grant

Grants are now available for Farm Solar Water Heating.

This grant only applies to new applications from 12th May 2010.

Grant used to support the capital and installation costs of a  solar water heating system 

Scheme must be on a farm located within Northern Ireland

Must be in receipt of a grant offer letter from NIE before proceeding with any work

System must be designed, installed and commissioned by a registered installer

Schemes must use accredited products

Grants are only available for the installation of new items

Maximum grant will be 25% of total cost

Statutory approvals required before making application e.g. Building Control / Planning

Only one application will be permitted per farm

Grants must be claimed within 4 months of a grant offer being made by NIE.
